Family Times

This week has been an "okay" week. Monday and Tuesday my 8 yr old was sick.

On Tuesday and Wednesday my 15 yr old was sick.

Of course, Thursday was Thanksgiving.
The kids and I spent Thanksgiving with my Adoptive parents and Sisters family.

Thanksgiving night my children, 8yrs and 7yrs old, decided to play with Barbies and GI Joe. In the Bathtub. Fun Fun. I'm just thankful that my floor didn't cave in. As my 8 yr old daughter Ellie slammed her little butt through a massive puddle on the floor in her room. She only received a bruised bottom.

I had the lovely joy to slam into the stair rail to keep myself from pitching back down the stairs. Not an easy feat for a large woman. The only injuries from my ordeal was a strained neck.

This weekend Ellie(8yr old) and Leighton(7yr old) are spending precious time with DADDY!!!! While Jakayla, my15 yr old daughter, is spending the weekend with a friend.

*excuse me while I roll my eyes for a moment*

I am grateful for my children and the blessed break that I am getting from them this weekend.
As I believe they have ate me out of house and home... Yes! I did say they ate me out of house and home.
Thanksgiving was only yesterday!!!! All the glorious leftovers in my frig are now sadly gone.

I will morn it all.

Seeing as It was completely obliterated before I woke up this morning.

Leg warmer

So far I have only made one of these. I plan to make the other one in the next coming week. I wanted to make sure that I liked the design and it fit properly before hand.
I made this in Red Heart Cherry Chip yarn. It gave off a beautiful look. I don't really like using this type of yarn because its scratchy and irritating.

Dish Cloth

Dish Cloth in strawberry and creme cotton yarn.

Ruby Red Bear from Premier Yarns take 2

This bear project I used some girly looking yarns that my daughter chose. This project I have dubbed Miss Bear.

Little Girls Scarf

This is a scarf that I started. as you can still see..... the knitting needles are still attached. The yarn just dries out my hands to fast. I was curious how this heart would look like on a it. Looks pretty good just need to finish it.

Ruby Red Bear from Premier Yarns

This one I dubbed Mr. Bear. He isn't finished because my kids are fighting over him. I added a heart to his little body. He still needs a bow tie and some buttons. :)

ripple hand bag from Red Heart Yarns

I chose to make this bag in wool yarns to see how well it comes out.

Here is a hooded scarf that I seen online. I was curious how it would look on one of my kids.
It was done in Seed Stitch pattern.
