Hanging out in June

This month is birthday's left and right. Right along with the kids getting out of school. My mom had hers, I had mine, my nephew Ethan had his, my cousin Tiff had hers, my aunt nini's is today, and last but not least my son turns 7 on the 23rd.

This month is difficult for me because we didn't go into summer slowly. We jumped right into the 80's with humidity. This is the first year that my body just can't deal with the heat.

So I've been working on my knitting projects.

Knitted squares with hearts on them. Working on knitting squares with bears on them. Goal is to stitch them all together for a baby blanket for my sister. :) She is due in December.

Have a fun fur blanket that I'm working on for my 14yr old daughter. Her Birthday is in Oct. So I'm not going pushing to get that done. Slow and steady for that one :)

Almost finished with a handbag. Its at the finishing stages. :) Its a strawberry cream and brown weave bag.

This weekend I've taken the weekend off from knitting. My youngest two children are with their father. Oldest daughter is hiding at home from the heat and people. This is a much needed break that my family needed.

Well I'm off and running to help my friend this weekend. To all the fathers out there: Happy Father's Day. For all the dead beat dads out there Get a clue and use a condom. For all guys out there that use a condom: Happy Flush Day. :0
